Muscat Arbitration & Mediation Days 2026

To establish the Muscat Arbitration & Mediation Days (MAMD) as a leading annual, interactive and forward-looking knowledge platform, with a pioneering regional and international outlook, bringing together policymakers, leading experts, specialists, practitioners and other key stakeholders in arbitration, mediation and dispute resolution from the Sultanate of Oman, the region and the international community.

To serve as a dynamic knowledge and collaboration platform that convenes engaging dialogues, forums and enriching events addressing the evolving needs and developments of the dispute resolution field. The MAMD seeks to contribute to the realisation of Oman Vision 2040 by fostering strategic dialogue, facilitating the exchange of knowledge, expertise and best practices, anticipating emerging trends and shaping the future of dispute resolution, while translating shared insights into meaningful collaboration, lasting partnerships and sustainable impact.

• Position the Sultanate of Oman and Muscat as leading regional and international destinations for dispute resolution, strengthening their visibility and engagement on the global stage through active participation in international forums and initiatives in arbitration, mediation and dispute resolution.

• Anticipate and shape the future of dispute resolution by monitoring emerging trends, developments and innovations, and facilitating the exchange and adoption of leading international practices.

• Build an integrated and collaborative knowledge ecosystem that brings together policymakers, experts, specialists, practitioners and other stakeholders to exchange insights, expertise and best practices, promote knowledge transfer, and advance professional capabilities in dispute resolution.
• Foster regional and international cooperation and partnerships among dispute resolution institutions, judicial, governmental, professional and academic bodies, and the business community, creating avenues for sustained dialogue, knowledge exchange and joint initiatives.
• Translate dialogue and shared knowledge into practical outcomes and lasting impact, supporting institutional development, professional advancement and sustainable partnerships across the dispute resolution community.
